Company Overview

Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore is the nation’s only accredited member of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN), an organisation which supports food banks in more than 50 countries. As an IPC-registered charity (non-government funded), we collect surplus food from manufacturers, distributors, retailers, restaurants, and the public, and channel them to vulnerable communities through our network of beneficiary partners. We also procure food as needed to meet the food support requirements of our beneficiary partners. Beyond providing vital food support to improve food security, we champion food sustainability through advocacy, reducing food waste, and driving education programmes that inspire action to reduce food waste and build a more sustainable future. In 2025, we distributed about 700,000kg of food to communities across Singapore. Earlier this year, we launched the Back-to-School Programme to provide 50,000 food and stationery support kits to school-going children from lower-income households in 2026. 

Role Overview
The Food Bank Singapore seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to play a key role in our food operations. You will manage food procurement and donations, coordinate warehouse activities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely, safe, and accurate distribution of food, helping us deliver essential support to our beneficiary network across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
Food Donations

• Manage industrial food donations, including coordination with donors and documentation.
• Handle donations from Food Drives, Bank Boxes and other ad-hoc donors. Handling includes sorting, assessment, and donor communications.
• Coordinate with the Programmes Team to ensure all food items are packed and ready for distribution.
• Provide donors with warehouse tours and acknowledgement letters/impact reports where applicable.

Warehouse Activities

• Move pallets between the warehouse and loading bay; driving vehicles may be required as needed.
• Organise and maintain proper food storage, housekeeping, and inventory control.
• Coordinate, train, and record attendance for all volunteers.
• Support programme that involve visitors by providing tours.
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse operations, stock, and volunteer activities.

Role Flexibility

• Responsibilities across procurement, industrial donations, and food drives are interchangeable and may be rotated among staff.
• Staff are expected to be cross-trained to support different functions as needed.

Other Duties

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
