Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting operations on securities-related transactions, settlements, and operational accuracy.
Perform daily bank and broker reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies, breaks, and unmatched items.
Assist in monitoring daily cash positions, prepare cash flow forecasts, and support liquidity management to meet operational and settlement requirements.
Maintain treasury‑related schedules, including banking facilities and fixed deposits, and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
Liaise with internal teams, banks and brokers on operational and reconciliation matters.
Support ad hoc finance and operational projects as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial operations experience within the securities brokerage or financial services industry.
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
Exposure to treasury operations or cash management is an advantage.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and macros; VBA experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; detail‑oriented, proactive, well‑organized, able to work independently and as a team player.
Familiarity with SFC regulatory environment, settlement processes, and internal controls is an advantage.
Full-time
