Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Perform machine offset adjustments and tool changes as required.
- Conduct first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
- Ensure machined parts meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or maintenance requirements.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Record production data, inspection results, and machine logs accurately.
- Comply with company safety procedures, quality standards, and 5S practices.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
Job Requirement:
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience (experience in aerospace manufacturing is an advantage).
- Knowledge of CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup is preferred.
- Able to start work immediately is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
