Lead and manage the procurement team of 5–10 members, ensuring smooth daily operations and team performance.
Develop and execute procurement strategies for cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier reliability.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing, contract terms, and timely delivery.
Plan procurement activities according to project schedules and operational requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and delivery timelines to support project execution.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Track market prices for key construction materials and recommend cost-control initiatives.
Collaborate closely with other HODs and project teams to support business and operational objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
For Manager level: Minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience in the precast, construction, building materials, or main contractor industry.
Candidates with 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience will be considered for the Senior Procurement Executive position.
Strong negotiation, contract management, cost-control, and supplier management skills.
Familiar with construction materials such as cement, steel, molds, and aggregates.
Able to collaborate effectively with management and other HODs.
ERP/procurement system knowledge is an added advantage.
Able to work on-site in Ulu Choh, Johor.
Salary Range
Construction Procurement Manager: Up to RM10,000.
Procurement Assistant Manager: Up to RM8,000.
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
