Job Responsibilities

• Monitor material availability to support daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Review and track customer demand, production plans, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement to expedite critical materials and resolve supplier delivery issues.
• Monitor purchase order (PO) status and ensure on-time supplier delivery.
• Identify, report, and prioritize material shortages affecting production.
• Work closely with Production Planning to ensure materials are ready for scheduled builds.
• Coordinate with Sales/Program Management on customer demand changes and shipment priorities.
• Liaise with Warehouse to ensure timely receiving, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Review excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and weekly material shortage reports with recovery plans.
• Support Engineering and NPI teams by ensuring material readiness for new product introductions.
• Participate in customer meetings and internal production meetings when required.
• Maintain accurate material planning data in the ERP/MRP system.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for material planning and inventory control.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory and material management.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Material Control, Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management.
• Must have experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or PCBA manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., M2M or equivalent) is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to analyze material shortages and develop recovery plans.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good written and spoken English.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
