Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that the organization secures high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. You will play a crucial role in driving our operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives by developing strong supplier relationships and continuously analyzing market trends. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing procurement strategies, enhancing cost savings, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including requisitioning, ordering, and receiving goods and services.

  • Manage purchase orders and optimize the ordering process.

Supplier Coordination and Relationship Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and problem-solving.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers to ensure compliance with timelines and specifications.

  • Coordinate activities for timely delivery from suppliers, particularly in regions such as China.

Product Development and Documentation:

  • Support product development by communicating specifications, coordinating resources, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

  • Manage product samples by requesting, tracking, and evaluating their quality.

  • Monitor and update product status to ensure alignment with project timelines.

  • Perform various administrative and ad-hoc duties as assigned within the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in procurement or a similar position, training will be provided.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Coordinating work with suppliers and/or counterparts from China. Therefore, proficiency in Mandarin is a must.
