Immediate and Urgent Hire: Shadow Support Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, empathetic, and committed Shadow Support Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting neurodivergent children, including those with ASD, ADHD, and other conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support tailored to each child’s needs.
• Implement behaviour interventions, including emotional regulation strategies.
• Support the development of social skills and classroom adaptation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Work with children of various age groups, both younger and older students.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience working in a similar role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting children’s development.
• Fluent in English.
• Command of Mandarin or Tamil is beneficial.
• Additional Details:
• Work location: School during school days, with possible home support during school holidays.
• Start date: Immediate

Education:

• Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)
