The Application Admin I is responsible for supporting assigned application systems and related programming tasks.

Ensures systems operate according to defined specifications and business requirements.

Job Summary

- Maintain and support application systems to ensure reliable operation according to defined system functions and specifications.

- Perform programming, system administration, and basic troubleshooting activities to support business operations, with exposure to enterprise systems and modern tools under guidance.

- Perform programming tasks based on system specifications provided by Business Analyst or IT Functional Manager

- Support administration of application systems, ensuring availability and performance align with IT targets

- Assist in troubleshooting application issues and escalate complex problems where required-Support Level 1 incident handling and problem investigation

- Develop and maintain application and programming documentation according to IT standards

- Coordinate system deployment, installation, and updates with IT teams and users

- Perform periodic system processing, reporting, and data validation activities

- Provide Level 1 user support, training, and consultation for assigned applications

- Support reporting needs using available tools (e.g. SQL queries or basic dashboards)

- Ensure application uptime aligns with corporate IT targets

- Perform routine system checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance

- Support integration with other systems where required

- Provide support during working hours and outside working hours, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays, with on-call coverage as needed for 24/7 support

- Demonstrate working understanding of low-code platforms, AI/ML concepts, and cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS) to support modern application environments

General Requirement

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming techniques and methodologies

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into application logic

- Familiarity with databases and data handling concepts (e.g. SQL)

- Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, MES, PLM) is an advantage

- Basic understanding of application support processes and lifecycle

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills Able to work under guidance and follow defined processes

- Good communication skills for user interaction and team collaboration

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
