Role Overview
Knight Auto Precision is seeking a motivated Systems Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly on advanced electromechanical systems, assisting with system integration, validation, and documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply engineering theory to real-world industrial automation and precision manufacturing challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- System Installation: Perform physical installation and integration of electromechanical components and sub-systems.
- Testing & Validation: Execute system validation protocols, functional testing, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment meets performance specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Create, update, and maintain detailed documentation for installation processes, testing procedures, and validation results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electromechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., CAD, SOLIDWORKS) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and clear technical writing ability.
