Hiring: MuleSoft Platform Engineer (Automation & Operations)

Location- KL

Hybrid model: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

We’re looking for a skilled MuleSoft Platform Engineer to join an international, cross-functional environment focused on platform reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, automating operations, and driving continuous platform performance at scale.

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)

• 5–7 years of experience in MuleSoft platform operations (not API development)
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft Flex Gateway (Omni Gateway)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift, ArgoCD
• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth, OpenID)
• Exposure to AWS & Azure (foundational level)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational effort
• Identify repetitive activities and implement automation initiatives
• Build scripts using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or platform-specific tools
• Manage platform capacity, performance, and scalability
• Implement self-healing and auto-remediation solutions
• Drive continuous improvement for platform stability and efficiency
• Monitor utilization, forecast growth, and lead capacity planning
• Support major incidents and service restoration
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners globally

What You’ll Deliver

• Automation scripts and operational solutions
• Self-healing mechanisms for recurring issues
• Capacity reports and forecasting insights
• Technical documentation and runbooks
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge transfer to support ongoing operations

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, Java, JSON
• Understanding of network fundamentals (VIPs, firewalls, load balancers)
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management
• Tools like Postman, SoapUI
• Linux exposure

Work Environment

• International, collaborative setting
• Occasional off-hours support and short-term travel may be required

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong English communication skills (C1 level)
• Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams
