Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sungai Jawi, responsible for overseeing daily logistics and transportation activities. This role coordinates inter-plant movements, milk run operations, fleet utilization, and routing to ensure on-time deliveries and cost-efficient operations. The Operations Manager monitors KPIs, manages schedules, and works closely with drivers, coordinators, and customers to maintain service quality and operational transparency. The role includes resolving operational issues, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and optimizing processes through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. This position also involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support strategic growth and maintain high-performance standards across the supply chain.
Qualifications

• Strong operations and logistics management skills, including route planning, fleet coordination, and supply chain process oversight.
• Experience with performance management, KPI monitoring, and data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Knowledge of transportation compliance, safety standards, and customs or regulatory procedures relevant to logistics operations.
• Capabilities in stakeholder management, including communication, negotiation, and relationship building with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in using logistics or ERP systems, scheduling tools, and basic data analysis (Excel or similar) to manage daily operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, and the ability to manage shifts and workforce allocation.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain; a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Sungai Jawi, handle fast-paced operational environments, and respond effectively to time-critical situations.
