Job Description:

• Manage the entire process in the planning of purchasing activities, including sourcing, liaising and negotiating with suppliers to obtain best price and service, costing analysis, negotiate contracts, terms and deadline with vendors and suppliers.
• Responsible for material delivery time and quality control, keeping necessary original records and price comparison sheets for procurement, conducting analysis and statistics, and reporting regularly
• To enquire and obtain quotation and procure construction materials/equipment/services requested by project or contract personnel.
• Responsible on purchasing requisition, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing
• Oversee purchasing operation and control spend and build a culture of long term saving on procurement cost
• Communicate with site personnel for materials quality and ensure materials delivery on time
• Handle all the documents handling such as official letter to request for quotation, comparison, issue purchase order and coordinate with account department for making payment to supplier etc
• Familiar in forwarding and shipping terms is added advantage
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate superior/ Senior Project Manager / Director

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree or equivalent in Purchasing / Business Administration or suitably recognized field that is applicable
• 3-5 years working experience in related field
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous
• Good knowledge in construction procurement processes

• Able to speak, read and write in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking oversea vendors)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
