Job Description
Responsibilities
Manufacturing Technician supports safe, stable, and efficient production in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. Working closely with engineers and operations teams, the role ensures production targets, quality standards, and operational requirements are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow safety policies, quality systems, cleanroom protocols, and 6S standards.
• Conduct work area inspections and maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure products are processed, handled, and documented correctly.
• Support containment and follow-up actions for process deviations.
• Execute daily production activities according to production plans, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Monitor production flow, cycle time, and work-in-progress to achieve output targets.
• Verify material, tool, and equipment readiness before production.
• Escalate delays, abnormal trends, and bottlenecks promptly.
• Operate automated manufacturing equipment to meet shift goals.
• Perform equipment checks, changeovers, and basic operations.
• Monitor process and equipment performance to maintain stable manufacturing conditions.
• Support troubleshooting and investigations led by engineers.
• Record abnormalities accurately for traceability and reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cycle-time reduction.
• Support data collection, analysis, and process improvement activities.
• Collaborate effectively across shifts and functions.
Requirements
• Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or production environments.
• Familiar with computer-based systems for data entry and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Basic digital and AI literacy to support business and operational needs.
