An exciting opportunity has arisen for a C#/.NET & Rust Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team in Singapore. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing scalable, high-throughput applications while working on modern cloud-native platforms. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Rust, to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance business-critical applications.
• Build scalable, multithreaded solutions using C#/.NET and Rust.
• Develop and integrate microservices and distributed applications.
• Optimise application performance, latency and memory utilisation.
• Work closely with global engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong development experience with Rust and/or C#/.NET.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading, asynchronous programming and software design principles.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs or gRPC services.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or SNS.
• Exposure to AWS and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with .NET Core, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins and Jira.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to modern front-end technologies such as React or Angular is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
