Roles & Responsibilities
1. Process Management
- Support and optimize wet and dry manufacturing processes to achieve quality, yield, and productivity targets.
- Monitor and maintain process parameters within established specifications.
- Manage wet processes, including Copper (Cu) plating, Nickel (Ni) plating, developing, stripping, and seed layer etching.
- Support dry processes, including dry lamination, Laser Direct Imaging (LDI), and flycutting.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to ensure process stability.
2. Chemical Analysis
- Perform routine chemical analysis of plating solutions and process baths.
- Conduct weekly replenishment of Cu and Ni plating solutions.
- Monitor chemical concentrations and recommend adjustments to maintain process performance and product quality.
3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot process equipment and identify root causes of equipment-related issues.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate spare parts replacement and equipment upkeep.
- Assist in equipment installation, qualification, and process validation.
4. Quality Management & Problem Solving
- Investigate process deviations, quality issues and customer complaints.
- Apply problem-solving methodologies such as CAPA, 8D, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process reliability and productquality.
5. Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, cost, and safetyperformance.
- Participate in Kaizen and operational excellence projects.
- Analyze production data and prepare technical reports to support improvement activities.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of electroplating, chemical processes, or semiconductor/manufacturing operations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and RCA is preferred.
- Hands-on, analytical, and skilled in troubleshooting process and equipment issues.
- Good communication, teamwork, and technical reporting skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Hours: 7.50am to 4.55pm (Mondays - Fridays)
Salary package and job title commensurate with experience.
Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 per month
