Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating supply chain activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role supports timely material availability, accurate inventory management, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, process, and manage purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, components, and services
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production planning to avoid stockouts or overstock situations
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and negotiate terms with vendors when necessary
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and tracking deliveries
- Work with freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and delivery times
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements
- Record and track goods received; maintain items record and document necessary information
- Conduct monthly physical counts, reconcile variances, and input inventory data into the system
- Collaborate with production, engineering, lab, and finance teams to align procurement, logistics, and inventory activities with business needs
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, shipping regulations, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
