Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, networks (LAN/WAN, VPN), storage systems, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
  • System Administration: Manage user access, active directories, O365/Google Workspace administration, and software deployments across the organization
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, firewalls, endpoint security, and regular vulnerability patching. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee routine system backups, verify data integrity, and maintain disaster recovery protocols to minimize business disruption
  • Hardware & Vendor Management: Procure, configure, and lifecycle-manage IT assets (servers, routers, switches, laptops). Coordinate with external vendors and ISPs for service agreements and troubleshooting
  • Technical Support Escalation: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex infrastructure and network issues, ensuring rapid resolution
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, asset inventories, project documentation, timelines, meeting minutes, and status reports and IT standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Project Coordination: Support IT initiatives and digital transformation projects and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation activities
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, recommend enhancements to improve user experience/ operational efficiency and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure administration or a similar systems engineering role
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex system errors under pressure
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly
  • Eagerness to stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into the existing ecosystem
