Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
- Process monthly progress claims and Variation Order (VO) claims.
- Prepare and review M&E Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Assist with tender preparation, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Perform quantity take-offs and measurements using industry-standard software.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, with exposure to both disciplines preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
- Cost estimation for M&E projects.
- Processing progress claims and Variation Orders (VO).
- Preparation and measurement of M&E Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Tendering, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with quantity take-off and measurement software. Experience with CostX is an advantage, though training will be provided.
