Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst (Java with DevOps) to analyse business requirements, design and develop enterprise applications, and support system implementation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, a solid understanding of system integration, and exposure to DevOps practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and work closely with users, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver effective solutions.
• Perform systems analysis, application and database design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support for Java-based enterprise applications and web services.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST/SOAP integrations while supporting application deployments, troubleshooting, documentation, and DevOps/CI-CD activities throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application and database design, software development, implementation, testing, and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Java, REST/SOAP Web Services, Java technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Bash/Shell scripting, Responsive Web Design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and SAML.
• Experience working with Eclipse IDE and Linux, Red Hat Linux, Unix, and Windows Server environments.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and vendor management skills, with the ability to work independently in gathering and translating business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Innovation Suite, Remedy AR System, BMC Remedy Developer Studio, Pentaho, and Helix iPaaS.
• Experience developing workflows, integrations, and CMDB components, as well as participating in the full SDLC, including solution design, low-level design documentation, deployment, and production support.

• Employment type: Contract - 24 months (renewable)
• Location: Novena, Singapore
• Working Hours: 8:30AM to 6:00PM (Mon-Fri)
• Salary: $6000 - 8000 per month (no bonus)
• Working Arrangement: Full Onsite/Hybrid
