Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts within assigned territories.
Promote and recommend plating and surface finishing solutions based on customer manufacturing needs.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training.
Coordinate product evaluations, laboratory trials, and production qualification activities.
Build strong relationships with customers across engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and management teams.
Provide technical support by troubleshooting process and product performance issues and working with technical specialists on complex investigations.
Manage customer qualification projects from initial trial through production approval, ensuring project milestones and customer requirements are met.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, customer records, and market intelligence using the company's CRM system.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Electrochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3–8 years of experience in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Technical Service, or Process Engineering within the electronics, semiconductor (IDM or OSAT), or surface finishing industries.
Experience in plating and/or surface finishing is highly desirable.
Customer-facing experience in B2B industrial markets is preferred.
Knowledge of plating technologies, semiconductor assembly and packaging, connector or leadframe manufacturing, process control, and chemical bath maintenance is advantageous.
Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Customer-focused with commercial awareness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
