Are you passionate about hardware testing, validation, and quality assurance? Join our global client and work in a cutting-edge hardware laboratory, contributing to the testing and validation of next-generation printing technologies.

Position: Hardware Test Engineer

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: , 1A Depot Road, HP Office, Singapore

Salary: Up to SGD 4,500/month (Higher budget may be considered for exceptional candidates with strong relevant experience)

Eligibility

Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)

Minimum 5+ years of testing experience in a hardware lab environment

Key Responsibilities

Perform hardware testing and system validation for new products

Execute printer and printing supplies validation activities

Conduct paper handling and cutting validation tests

Perform system interaction testing and document test results

Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions or workarounds

Collaborate with engineers to define test requirements

Support logistics and resource planning to meet project timelines

Prepare validation reports and communicate testing outcomes

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality

Comprehensive hardware-specific training will be provided by HP.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

At least 5 years of experience in hardware testing, printer validation, or related laboratory environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working with hardware devices in a laboratory environment

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Strong willingness to learn new technologies

• Basic Programming (C++, C#, Visual Basic) (Advantage)

Education: Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
