We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Medicine team. This position is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career occupational therapists who are committed to helping patients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and implement appropriate intervention plans.
- Manage an assigned caseload and maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive patient documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, rehabilitation goals and home programmes.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols and professional standards.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate actively in Continuous Professional Development (CPD), in-service training and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registered with the Malaysian Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).
- Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Board (MAHPB).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with clinical placement experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings will have an added advantage.
