Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Kota Kinabalu.

The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing resources and subcontractors, monitoring progress, and resolving issues that may affect scope, timelines, or costs.

The role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams, preparation of reports and documentation, and adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.

The Project Manager is expected to drive continuous improvement, maintain strong stakeholder communication, and support PAA’s commitment to precision and sustainable project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead end-to-end project delivery to completion and handover

 Manage coordination with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely approvals and execution

 Oversee project schedule, cost, and quality to achieve delivery targets

 Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, specifications, and safety standards

 Provide regular progress reporting to management

Requirements:

 Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

 Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in construction

 Proven track record in delivering projects from inception to completion

 Strong communication ability, stakeholder management, and Solution Providing capabilities

 Sabah Projects experience is an added advantage
