We are looking for a highly motivated and technically competent Application Technical Support Engineer to provide onsite support for our banking transaction processing and automation solutions deployed at customer environments.

The role involves production support, issue investigation, troubleshooting, deployment support, monitoring, incident management, and coordination with development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations of mission-critical banking applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Java-based enterprise applications, Oracle databases, and WebLogic application servers, along with excellent analytical and customer-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support

• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 application support for banking transaction processing systems.
• Monitor application health, transaction processing, batch jobs, and system performance.
• Investigate and resolve application-related incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and coordinate permanent fixes.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Technical Troubleshooting

• Analyze application logs, server logs, and database logs to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot application, middleware, integration, and database-related problems.
• Support transaction failures, reconciliation issues, interface failures, and operational incidents.
• Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes and product enhancements.

Application Deployment & Release Support

• Support application deployment activities across UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Validate deployment packages and configuration changes.
• Assist in release verification and post-deployment monitoring.

Database Support

• Execute SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
• Monitor database-related issues and coordinate with DBA teams when required.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a primary technical contact for customer operational teams.
• Participate in customer meetings, incident reviews, and status discussions.
• Provide timely updates during critical incidents and service disruptions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain incident records, troubleshooting documents, and operational procedures.
• Prepare RCA reports, service reports, and operational dashboards.
• Update knowledge base articles and support documentation.

Technical Skills Required:

Job Type: Full-time
