We are a well-established automotive manufacturing company located in Bukit Minyak, Penang, and we are looking for a Production Engineer to join our growing team.

The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining efficiency, quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily production activities to ensure production targets and schedules are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and machine-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to ensure smooth production flow.
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Implement process improvements to reduce waste, downtime and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work closely with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare production reports and monitor key production performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field).
• At least 2–5 years of experience in automotive industry manufacturing or production environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with production planning, process improvement and manufacturing operations.
