Nestle Hong Kong Ltd Hiring! Full Time Project Engineer in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The role is responsible for ensuring that project objectives, technical specifications, Nestlé standards, and regulatory requirements are fully incorporated into project execution. The Project Engineer will drive the successful delivery of manufacturing, utilities, automation, and infrastructure projects while ensuring that safety, quality, operational performance, and sustainability objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Capital Project Management & Execution

Lead and support the execution of capital investment projects from concept development through commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed specifications and quality standards.

• Manage CAPEX projects from design to start-up, ensuring delivery against project scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements.

• Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) and technical specifications.

• Coordinate project requirements across Production, Quality, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Support commissioning, operator training, and project handover to operations.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all engineering solutions comply with Nestlé standards, corporate policies, local regulations, and safety requirements while maintaining the highest standards of product safety, people safety, and environmental protection.

• Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards, local regulations, and safety requirements throughout project execution.

• Perform risk assessments and apply change management processes for engineering modifications.

• Ensure project designs meet safety, quality, reliability, and maintainability requirements.

Engineering & Technical Execution

Provide engineering and technical expertise to ensure manufacturing systems, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are designed and implemented to deliver sustainable operational performance.

• Lead the implementation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, automation, and infrastructure projects.

• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure engineering solutions meet project objectives and Nestlé standards.

• Provide technical expertise on manufacturing process improvements and industrial services upgrading projects.

Operational Readiness & Continuous Improvement

Ensure smooth transition of completed projects into operations and contribute to continuous improvement of factory performance through engineering expertise and technical support.

• Support production and maintenance teams during project start-up and stabilization.

• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, procedures, and technical reports.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process mastership or project management, preferably with electrical engineering exposure in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in CAPEX project execution, equipment/production line start-up, and supervision of contractors or technical teams.

• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver against KPIs; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
