Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join us in the next phase of our story. We are seeking an ambitious, driven and strategic individual who has a passion for communications. This candidate should have expertise in integrated communications, media relations, team management and writing. This role will provide leadership for some of our most prominent consumer, corporate and technology clients with major brand recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Writes comprehensive client and new business plan drafts, requiring only light edits by his/her director or vice president
  • Effectively participates in new business presentations and takes an active role in developing new business for his/her respective division or practice area
  • Communicates “big picture” strategy and tactics to team
  • Defines and adjusts strategies appropriately
  • Provides direct client counsel and is seen as a strategist by the client
  • Is capable of handling client meetings and presentations on his/her own
  • Provides framework for tracking and measuring client results; markets back to clients
  • Works alongside Director to monitor account profitability
  • Provides fundamental management of SAEs and AEs
  • Writes and edits client materials
  • Conducts professional development programs for the firm, as appropriate
  • Actively builds firm visibility through association memberships and networking opportunities
  • Demonstrates burgeoning industry-specific expertise
  • Seeks professional development opportunities to grow industry expertise
  • Promotes and upholds Allison+Partners’ core values

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in related field required
  • 3 or more years of public relations, marketing or related experience
  • Has managed budgets and supervised at least one account person
  • Exemplary follow-through and execution skills
  • Solution-minded; embraces new methodologies
  • Strong writer with excellent presentation skills
  • Thinks strategically
