The Information (INFO) Division focuses on capabilities and technologies that enable MINDEF / SAF to harness and exploit information in the physical battlefield and cyberspace. Capability areas include cybersecurity, cryptography, data analysis and fusion, artificial intelligence, vulnerabilities assessments and operations analysis. INFO Software Laboratory provides expertise in developing software systems for Data Fusion, Big Data Analytics, AI/ML, C2 and Simulation. Operations Research Analyst

In This Role, You Will

• Conduct operations analysis studies on defence and national security-related issues
• Develop mathematical or simulation models and apply them to complex real-world problems
• Apply engineering knowledge and tools to predict systems performance and failure
• Conduct data analysis and present findings and recommendations to decision-makers
  
  

Job Requirements

• Master / Degree in Data Science and Analytics / Electrical and Computer Engineering / Industrial and Systems Engineering / Mathematical Sciences / Operations Research / Statistics
• Experience in C / C++ / C# / Java / JavaScript / Python programming
• Ability to apply mathematical and statistical skills to model and analyse defence and national security problems.
• Good communication (verbal and written) skills
• Experience in Finite Element Analysis (LS DYNA) and computational or experimental impact mechanics would be an added advantage
