About the Role

Join Niagawan in building the next generation of cloud-based Accounting, POS, and Tax solutions for SMEs.

As an Analyst Programmer, you'll be involved in analysing business requirements, developing new system features, enhancing existing applications, and maintaining our cloud-based solutions.

You'll work closely with the Product, QA, and Support teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software while continuously improving system performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

System Analysis & Development

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions
• Develop and maintain web applications using modern development frameworks
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs
• Develop new modules and improve existing system features
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP modules when required

System Performance

• Optimise application and database performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Perform debugging, testing, and system improvements

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, QA, and Support teams
• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews
• Deliver quality work within agreed timelines
• Contribute ideas for continuous product improvement

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in software development

Technical Skills

• Experience developing applications using Next.js and NestJS.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiar with MySQL database design and optimisation
• Working knowledge of PHP is an advantage
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
