Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production machinery and plant facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves troubleshooting equipment failures, installing and commissioning new machinery, repairing production equipment and facility infrastructure, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment efficiency, productivity, and operational uptime.

The position works closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve technical issues, minimize machine downtime, and maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. In addition, the Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping standards, complying with Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) policies, safeguarding confidential company information, and performing other duties assigned by the Company as required.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facilities.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment faults.
Install, commission, and maintain new machinery and production equipment.
Support Engineering and Production teams in improving equipment reliability and productivity.
Minimize production downtime through timely troubleshooting and repair.
Maintain company buildings, utilities, and physical infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with ESH policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping standards.
Protect confidential technical and operational information.
Carry out additional technical duties as assigned.

Pay: RM1,900.00 per month
