Competencies and Skills

• This role is responsible for managing plans and overseeing IT projects for systems that cut across many applications and IT platform.
• Oversee the overall delivery performance of Project and monitor progress of projects versus projects’ scopes, timeline and budget, at the same time analyse business requirements, project issues, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• He/she will be handling the project and required to work hand in hand with other IT applications Lead and project teams for the completion of the project.

• Ability to coach/mentor other technical team members and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working under tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate architectural direction to management as well as balancing theory and practicality.
• Strong analytical and able to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment when tackling issues.
• Has banking domain knowledge; having background knowledge or experience in the transformation projects will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• PROJECT INITIATION
• 1) Develop project charter. Confirm project objective and high-level scope.
• 2) Identify key stakeholders to form a project team. Setup project steering committee and working committee.
• 3) Assist with technical solution and business case.
• 4) Develop SOW and review contract. Participate in contract / commercial / pricing negotiation.
• 5) Initiate purchase requisition.
• Core Responsibilities
• 1) Determine the project approach, milestones and schedule. Develop detailed project work plan
• 2) Oversee end-to-end project implementation including project planning, risk management, quality control through vendors feedback and during project closure and implementation, vendor management,

financial management, management of resource, collaboration and other related activities.

• 3) Oversee and monitor deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress of projects.
• 4) Responsible to provide oversight on project risk, scope, budget, schedule, benefits, team and stakeholders.
• 5) Responsible for development of project management and deployment policies and procedures including methods, tools, standards and project execution processes to be used across all projects.
• 6) Escalate and resolve issues / risks to Project Team for direction.
• 7) Ensure IT Leads for each application are being involved in project management delivery.
• 8) Ensure product / technical deliveries are compliant to IT standards, SDLC standards, policies and procedures. Prepare and develop reports and updates to management / steering committees as required.
• 9) Manage relationships with all vendors and sub-contractors. Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions.
• 10) Ability to solicit and elicit requirements from business and technology units to explore impact of decisions and recommend improvements.
• 11) Understand the architecture techniques including gap analysis and requirement gathering.
• 12) Ability to contribute to manage and communicate change in both operations and business partners in the bank.
• Stakeholder Management
• 1) Provide status reporting to key stakeholders, costs tracking, and resource management.
• 2) Provide leadership and manage performance of project resources including internal and external parties who are involved in the projects.

This includes training, developing and handling of the project team and ensuring performance expectations are communicated and met.

• Project Management
• 1) Oversee and manage the impacts, interfaces and inter-dependencies of all applications for the project
• 2) Manage business and technical problems and propose alternatives or solutions.
• 3) Adheres to all applicable procedures, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.
• Vendor Management
• 1. Manage the vendors’ SOW to ensure scope, timing and effort is delivered.
• 2. Manage the respective vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• 3. Work with the respective vendors to resolve project related issues.
• 4. Ensure and work with vendors on all technical related issues are resolved (project related issue).
• Audit Findings
• 1) Remediate audit findings with IT Security & IT Audit team to ensure audit reviews are carried according to Governance standards, policies and procedures.
• 2) Rectify and assess on audit reviews conducted by IT Security & IT Audit team.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,600.00 per month
