Operations Technology (OT) Manager – Security & Operations

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Fully onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (1 year initially, renewable up to additional 2 years based on performance)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: RM10,000 – RM13,000/month (depending on experience and skill set)
Project commencement target: Early September.

We are looking for an experienced OT Operations Manager to lead operational technology security and infrastructure activities. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing OT environments, SCADA/ICS/BMS systems, and can drive security, availability, and operational resilience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead OT security and operations activities to ensure system availability and resilience.
• Oversee SCADA, ICS, BMS, and related OT infrastructure environments.
• Implement and maintain OT security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Manage OT system lifecycle, including upgrades, maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor operational performance, risks, and security issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Manage external vendors and ensure service delivery quality.
• Prepare operational reports, risk assessments, and performance updates.
• Mentor and guide OT support teams.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in OT security, operations, infrastructure, or related fields.
• Strong experience managing OT environments and critical infrastructure systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, ICS, BMS, or industrial control systems.
• Experience implementing OT security policies and operational controls.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing system lifecycle, risks, and operational improvements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
