Role Summary

As an IC Verification Engineer, you will lead the functional verification of complex IPs and SoCs. You will design and implement verification plans, build reusable testbenches, and collaborate closely with design teams to ensure high-quality, bug-free silicon.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans for IP and SoC levels.
2. Architect and build reusable testbenches and verification environments using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
3. Create directed and constrained-random tests to identify design bugs.
4. Develop functional coverage and assertion checks to ensure verification completeness.
5. Analyze simulation results, debug test failures, and work with design teams to resolve issues.
6. Automate verification flows and regressions using scripting languages.
7. Support emulation and FPGA prototyping efforts.

How You Will Stand Out

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
2. Solid experience in functional verification of ASICs/SoCs
3. Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology
4. Experience with verification tools and simulators (e.g., VCS, Xcelium, Questa)
5. Programming and scripting skills (C/C++, Python, Perl, TCL) are highly desirable
6. Knowledge of formal verification techniques is a plus
7. Strong analytical and debugging skills with keen attention to detail
8. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team
