We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer to join our team. If you're passionate about embedded systems, Linux platform development, and building mission-critical communication solutions, we'd love to connect with you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software and new features for two-way radio products.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable C/C++ code for embedded systems.
• Perform board bring-up, hardware-software integration, debugging, and system troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Collaborate with hardware, front-end, test, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in design and code reviews while driving software quality and best practices.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve software development, testing, and productivity.
• Contribute to continuous product innovation in a collaborative Agile and global development environment.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and RTOS.
• Experience with BSP, bootloaders, device drivers, device tree, memory management, and hardware-software integration.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Knowledge of LTE/DMR technologies is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work onsite in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
