Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate dimensional inspections using hand tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs and laser trackers.
• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances, engineering drawings, and internal/external specifications.
• Prepare and maintain clear, complete, and traceable inspection reports and quality records.
• Identify, report, and follow up on quality deviations, collaborating with Production and Engineering to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure first article inspections (FAI) and final inspections are conducted to customer and internal standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve inspection processes, and support lean manufacturing practices.
• Provide cross-functional support to departments such as Production, Engineering, or Procurement when operationally required.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and audit-ready inspection area.

Experience & Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection or precision engineering manufacturing.

• Skilled in using precision inspection instruments, including CMMs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Basic understanding of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on product quality and fit-for-purpose parts.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and support multi-disciplinary teams when needed.
