Job Description

Our client is a technology company delivering software solutions that improve equipment connectivity and manufacturing data visibility across production environments. They are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex system integration challenges and building reliable software that connects production equipment with enterprise manufacturing platforms. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from solution development and system validation to customer deployment and post-implementation support

• Develop Windows-based software applications for equipment communication and manufacturing system integration.
• Implement, configure and troubleshoot SECS/GEM communication for semiconductor production equipment.
• Support equipment connectivity with MES, factory automation and manufacturing execution platforms.
• Design software modules to capture equipment status, process parameters, alarms, recipes and production data.
• Work closely with project teams during equipment installation, testing, commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Investigate and resolve software and communication issues to ensure reliable equipment performance.
• Participate in software enhancement, documentation, testing and continuous product improvement.
• Provide technical support during system deployment and customer implementation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial software development or equipment integration.
• Strong programming experience using C# and .NET.
• Experience developing Windows desktop applications (WPF or WinForms).
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting SECS/GEM communication is highly preferred.
• Experience integrating manufacturing equipment with MES or host systems.
• Exposure to industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP or TCP/IP.
• Good troubleshooting skills with equipment connectivity and communication.
• Strong communication skills and able to work directly with customers and project teams.
