Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Executive to support the growth of Tiny Away through partnerships, events, ambassador engagement and revenue-generating initiatives.
This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is highly organised, enjoys building relationships and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who takes ownership, works independently and is comfortable representing the company both locally and overseas.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships
- Support the development and execution of business development strategies.
- Identify and assist in securing partnership opportunities with brands, tourism boards, agencies and corporate partners.
- Manage partnership communications, proposals and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective partners.
Events & Ambassador Program
- Coordinate and execute business development events, networking sessions and ambassador activities.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, sponsors and partners to ensure successful event delivery.
- Travel overseas when required to support event setup, execution and partner engagement.
- Represent Tiny Away professionally during meetings and events.
Sales & Commercial Support
- Assist with corporate enquiries, group bookings and other revenue opportunities.
- Track leads and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-event or partnership reports.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate across internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Manage timelines, follow up on action items and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Identify issues proactively and recommend practical solutions.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organised documentation, reports and partnership records.
- Provide general business development support as required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing or Event Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with great attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Commercially minded with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, adaptable and willing to take initiative.
- Willing and able to travel overseas when required.
- Comfortable working in a growing company where responsibilities may evolve.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
