Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of core banking IT projects (deposits, lending, payments) - scope, schedule, budget, and vendor coordination
  • Translate business requirements into functional/technical solution designs for core banking systems, ensuring compliance, data governance, and security standards are built in
  • Analyze impact of changes on existing core banking platforms and define required system/functional flows across modules
  • Drive testing (UAT, test cases) and deployment readiness to ensure clean go-lives with minimal production disruption
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate project and system risks proactively
  • Manage stakeholders across business, IT, vendors, and compliance/audit teams through clear reporting and communication
  • Provide post-go-live functional support until system stabilization
  • Champion process improvement and best practices across core banking delivery

Job Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-10 years' experience in core banking systems (deposits/lending), banking operations, or IT project/functional analysis
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, core banking functional flows, and system integration
  • PM/Agile tool proficiency (JIRA, MS Project); PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certification a plus
  • Strong risk, vendor, and change management capability
  • Excellent stakeholder communication; able to translate between business and technical teams
  • Analytical, deadline-driven, comfortable across multiple concurrent projects
