Job Summary:

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Software Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise grade web applications. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and partnering with cross functional teams to build scalable, secure, and user centric digital platforms.

Experience

• At least 12 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 8 years of frontend development experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering large scale web-based applications.

Skills:

Frontend Development

• Advanced proficiency in Angular 19 or later.
• Strong experience with AG Grid, NgRx, Angular Signals, and Signal Store.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, usability, accessibility, and user experience principles.
• Experience conducting code reviews and establishing frontend development standards.
• Experience developing automated BDD and integration tests.

Backend and API Development

• Working knowledge of Python and RESTful API development.
• Experience with FastAPI or equivalent backend frameworks.
• Ability to develop and support backend services when required.

DevOps and Infrastructure

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Git, GitOps, ArgoCD, Maven, and source control best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Elasticsearch.

Cloud and Architecture

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and modern application architecture patterns.

Data and Quality Engineering

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.
• Knowledge of SQL databases including PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Strong debugging and problem solving capabilities.

AI and Emerging Technologies

• Experience using AI assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals, including prompt engineering and responsible AI usage.
• Ability to assess AI generated outputs for accuracy, security, and suitability.
• Interest in identifying automation and AI adoption opportunities within software delivery processes.
