Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a primary focus on HAM and SAM modules.
• Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle activities, including asset provisioning, inventory management, allocation, transfers, audits, reconciliation, retirement, and disposal.
• Configure and maintain software asset management processes such as software normalization, entitlement management, license tracking, compliance monitoring, reclamation, and optimization.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow components, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, catalog items, flows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, procurement platforms, endpoint management tools, and other third-party applications.
• Ensure alignment between ITAM, ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB processes to improve data integrity, asset visibility, and operational effectiveness.
• Execute data migration, imports, transformation, normalization, reconciliation, and remediation activities to maintain high-quality asset data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, process owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, deployment documents, testing artifacts, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support testing cycles, issue resolution, production deployments, post-production support, and continuous platform improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, particularly in HAM and SAM implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle management processes.
• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow using:Flow Designer
• Service Catalog
• ACLs
• UI Actions
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• Script Includes
• Notifications
• Solid experience with CMDB, Discovery, data normalization, reconciliation processes, and asset-to-CI relationships.
• Knowledge of software license compliance, software models, entitlement management, publisher compliance, and optimization practices.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scheduled jobs.
• Good understanding of ITIL best practices and integration between ITAM, Incident, Change, Request, Procurement, and Configuration Management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex platform issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM (CIS-HAM)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM (CIS-SAM)
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
