Mandatory Requirements.
- Onsite role at KL Eco City, Malaysia - Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm.
- Degree-qualified in IT.
- Mandatory hands-on 2-3 years of experience with the WordPress CMS, SEO and Moodle back end.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Required Skill(s): HTML, CSS3, MySQL, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional, engaging user experiences.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and structure website front-ends from wireframes into functional sections and customise WordPress themes and plugins for unique user experiences.
- Oversee the website architecture, including back-end systems, databases, and third-party API integration to enhance functionality and user engagement.
- Stay up to date on technology, industry trends, and WordPress developments, and provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members as needed.
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and documentation processes.
- Develop, customise, and maintain Moodle plugins, themes, and core functionalities.
- Integrate Moodle with third-party systems via APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, functional, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Moodle coding standards and security best practices.
- Perform regular updates, apply patches, and back up Moodle instances.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code.
- Assist in user support, training, and technical documentation.
This is a full-time, Web and Moodle developer role based at KL ECO City (Malaysia).
Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
