Location: Bintulu, Sarawak

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Shiploader Machine Electronic Technician to join our operations and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the electronic and electrical systems of shiploader equipment to ensure safe and reliable port operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on shiploader electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults involving PLCs, sensors, control panels, VFDs, motors, limit switches, and electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize operational downtime.
• Inspect, test, and calibrate electrical components and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Carry out routine inspections and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with operations and mechanical maintenance teams during repairs and equipment servicing.
• Participate in emergency breakdown response and scheduled maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical or electronic maintenance.
• Experience with shiploaders, conveyor systems, stackers, reclaimers, cranes, or other bulk material handling equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, industrial sensors, VFDs, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
• Possession of a Wireman (PW2/PW4) certificate is an added advantage.
