Role Description This full-time hybrid role is based in Singapore River, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications, focusing on robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end services, integrating APIs, and participating in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development lifecycle. The developer will also be responsible for testing, documentation, and supporting deployments to production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs, working with databases, and handling server-side logic.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to design modular, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, and basic knowledge of cloud platforms or containerization is beneficial.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
