Job description:

Indicon is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join the Quality Team. This is a tight-knit, cross-functional group motivated by excellence and teamwork. It is the job of our AMAT Verification/Inspection Team to ensure that our finished products meet customer specifications as well as our own internal expectations. This is an entry point for the Indicon Reading Quality Team. We work to consistently make things better.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Knowledge and ability to follow and adhere to Quality processes.
• Advance Assembly knowledge and problem
• Advanced knowledge and ability to read drawings, wire lists and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Advanced ability to install pre-labeled harnesses using Work Instructions
• Must be able to perform a basic visual inspection, verify proper torque (when needed), and apply proper torque marks (when needed)
• Must be proficient at filling out Quality Checklists and the Inspection Data Base
• Ability to respond to Production Line calls for Quality concerns or needs.
• Identify deficiencies, record them properly, and request Rework as needed.
• Follow up with the appropriate channels when concerns are identified.
• Communicating with other team members to solve problems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write) – Spanish/English a plus.
• Effective communication, active listening, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Problem Solving with analytical and decision-making skills.
