·     Spearhead investigation and resolution of critical production and pre-production defects, particularly those blocking releases or impacting client onboarding timelines.

·     Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) using logs, traces, database snapshots, and monitoring tools; drive permanent fixes vs. workarounds.

·     Manage defect backlogs proactively, prioritizing based on business impact, regulatory exposure, and SLA commitments.

·     Establish patterns from recurring issues and initiate preventive improvement initiatives(e.g., error handling, retry mechanisms, validation rules).
·     Lead and mentor a dedicated team of developers (permanent + vendor) focused on stabilisation, bug fixing, integration troubleshooting, and regression resolution.

·     Conduct code and design reviews to uphold standards in maintainability, exception handling, logging, and auditability.

·     Coach the team in diagnostics techniques, debugging complex flows across microservices, queues (MQ/Kafka), and databases.
·     Serve as the primary technical contact for Product Owners, BAs, and Upstream / Downstream system stakeholders during issue resolution and release phases.

·     Communicate transparently about risks, delays, dependencies, and recovery plans — even under pressure.

·     Present technical summaries and recommendations clearly to both technical peers and non-technical decision-makers.
