Job Description:
Director for Finance and Strategic Planning in leading the company for various matters of the company with the purpose of reporting to company's board/HQ including but not limited to:
Job Scope:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Company's finance, accounting, and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, corporate policies, and governance standards.
- Establish and maintain effective corporate governance and organizational control frameworks.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management to support the Company's strategic objectives.
- Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and business performance analysis, providing timely and accurate reports to the Board of Directors and Headquarters.
- Develop and execute financial and business strategies to enhance profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
- Direct and oversee corporate projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and mentor finance and administrative teams to achieve high standards of performance and operational excellence.
- Advise senior management and the Board on financial, strategic, and business matters, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with Headquarters on financial, strategic planning, governance, and corporate reporting matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, internal controls, and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Possess Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in business development with a strong professional network and stakeholder management capabilities.
- More than 10 years of extensive experience in finance, accounting, administration, and business management in the field of built environment, construction, or engineering industry.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business strategies, with a strong understanding of regional market developments and business trends.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Japanese language proficiency at a business-fluent level (equivalent to JLPT N1) is required to liaise with the Company's Headquarters and other stakeholders.
