Job Summary

Join a growing team as a Business Development Executive to drive new business growth, build customer relationships, and deliver tailored logistics solutions in a dynamic international market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue
• Prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, social media, and other lead generation methods
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Arrange and conduct customer meetings to assess business requirements and recommend appropriate logistics solutions
• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals, and follow up promptly on sales enquiries to close deals
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless implementation of customer requirements
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs for strategic insights
• Represent the company at local and overseas exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and customer visits to promote services
• Maintain detailed sales records and prepare regular sales activity reports to track progress and inform management
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute actively to the company’s overall business growth objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree in Maritime, Supply Chain or any Marketing discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to travel overseas for trade exhibitions, business meetings, and customer visits
