Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and motivated *Assistant Supervisor* to support the daily operations of our agricultural nursery site. The successful candidate will assist in supervising nursery workers, monitor seedling growth, ensure proper maintenance of the nursery, and maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Site Supervisor in managing daily nursery operations.

* Supervise and coordinate the daily work of nursery workers.

* Monitor seedling growth, health, irrigation, fertilization, and pest & disease control.

* Ensure proper planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and general nursery maintenance.

* Conduct routine inspections to maintain nursery cleanliness and safety.

* Monitor and maintain nursery equipment, tools, and irrigation systems.

* Record daily activities, worker attendance, seedling inventory, and operational reports.

* Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.

* Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments when required.

* Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

* Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plantation Management, or a related field.

* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in agriculture, plantation, or nursery operations.

* Good leadership and communication skills.

* Able to work independently and in a team.

* Physically fit and willing to work outdoors.

* Basic knowledge of nursery practices, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management.

* Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).
