Senior Backend Java Developer

Tech Stack: Java | Spring Boot | Microservices | REST API | Kafka | Kubernetes|

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Java Developer with 5+ years of Java development experience to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architecture, ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of our application modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Utilize the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, to build scalable and resilient services.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs.
• Manage and manipulate data using SQL databases (SQL Server) and MongoDB.
• Implement security measures and manage identity and access management.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and configure CI/CD pipelines for DevOps integration.
• Apply event-driven architecture principles using messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Manage documents using relevant technologies related to document management systems.
• Generate detailed reports and apply data analytics to support decision-making.
• Collaborate on payment processing and financial systems, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
• Develop comprehensive unit tests and integration tests using frameworks such as Mockito.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in Java development, particularly within a microservices architecture.
• Must have experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management using Okta and Auth0.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Experience configuring settings on cloud platforms, including object storage, databases, key vaults, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and mocking frameworks.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
