Principle Responsibilities

Providing oversight and leadership to production employees to comply with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. Utilize the ITW toolbox for improvements in delivery, productivity, inventory and overhead. Ensure to perform these tasks in line with the requirements of the ISO9001 quality system.

Scope of Duties

1. Provide for a healthy and safe work environment for all production personnel.

2. Support daily production requirements for each production cell by maintaining production schedules based on customer requested delivery.

3. Participate in daily Gemba reviews to review production performance for the area he/she incharge.

4. Supervise all personnel and operations on the shift.

5. Ensure that ITW toolbox practices understood by the team and implemented within the operating unit.

6. Provide direction and training to staff to continuously improve the systems and processes used to fulfill customer orders.

7. Promote and support 5S discipline and the use of visual management tools throughout the Manufacturing area.

8. Cross-train, upgrade, and evaluate employees on their specific duties.

9. Balance line and organize work for smooth operations.

10. Ensure that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.

11. Ensure that properly qualified staff are in place within the team for efficient and high-performance operation to customer requirements.

12. Ensure conformance to the requirements of the Quality system.

13. Support company continuous improvement initiatives.

14. Other duties as assigned

Skills and qualifications:

- BS degree in Engineering, Technology or Business Administration required.

- 3+ years of related supervisory experience in a production setting required.

- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience implementing lean manufacturing technologies preferred.

- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and in writing required.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

- Ability to work independently and flexible with good attitude.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
